Summer 2012 Hot Springing

Despite the wildfires, escape to a few backcountry hot springs was met with great success. Given that there’s never enough time during the summer to qualify all of the soaks on your list before old man winter shuts the proverbial access window with a mighty slam.

Unfortunately, many wildfires are still raging with smoke continuing to pour into the valleys. Some might even continue their all-consuming march until damp October weather finally sets-in. Don’t forget to check InciWeb and Idaho road conditions prior to departing on any backcountry trips.
