  1. I was there on the weekend of the 23rd, just made the return trip back to CO last weekend and passed up the soak this time around. Ended up pulling out about 40 lbs of trash from around the pools and below the pools along the trail.

    Also, I “fixed” the party pool plug with a bit of trash (pair of shorts left by someone) because the cap had been broken. There was a very large amount of algae build up and I used a brush that was left in the rocks to scrub as much of it out as I could.

    A lot of the trash was actually located at the higher pools during my visit and its important to note that there was a yellow jacket swarm that had been attracted by all the beer cans and glass bottles. I think this recent infestation lead to a couple of other soakers leaving before they were ready.

    Finally, there was a party of three women and a little girl when I got there. Rose, if you read this your crystal was left on top of the rock wall above the party pool.

    Thanks for keeping on top of places like this HSG, its a super soak that routinely get’s ruined by jackholes.
