<fb:like href='http://hotspringsguy.com/2010/10/fall-updates/' layout='default' show_faces='false' width='400' action='like' colorscheme='evil' send='true' />

A new commercial hot springs in Idaho has been revealed near Emmett, Idaho – Roy Stone Hot Springs. I am very much looking forward to visiting just as soon after the winter veil drops.

Reports have been submitted in regard to the condition of the road into Ruby Lake Hot Springs in northern Nevada. How do 14 inch ruts sound? Alright, just an FYI. If you are venturing that far out into the high desert you should have at least one spare and a couple in a can. I’ve recieved reports of Red Spider Mite activity here recently as well, be aware.

It has come down the wire that Boiling Springs Hot Springs north of Crouch, Idaho is now heavily infested with our Red Spider Mite nemesis. Another one to add to the list.

Updates have been dispersed about the upper pool (below the cave) at Indian Bathtub II Hot Springs aka Bruneau Hot Springs in Idaho. It has plumb dried-up. I reckon the local farmers have yet again drained another area hot springs by tapping geothermal wells for irrigation. Remember the Hot Springs Snail? Same deal.

With that, I leave you with this… happy trails to you…

This will make it easier for you to sign up for the ones you want. As a whole- the trash was abundant, tubs not so great this time of the year- but a great time nonetheless!
