Autumn at Trail Creek Hot Springs
ByTrail Creek Hot Springs, located in the Boise National Forest, is definitely in good shape.
Great job everyone, I couldn’t find any trash to haul out this time! Makes me so happy and proud to see hot springers taking good care.
I recorded this video clip just a couple weeks ago, and have to say watching it makes me ready to head back out. Hope you are all enjoying fall!
Don’t forget to get out of doors and hike around among the color shifting foliage.

If you have never been, there is a place about 9 miles outside of Salmon, at Elk Bend, that is nothing less than etherial. It is a pretty good hike up the mountain, but when you get there, you may never want to leave. It is a waterfall, with hot pools staggered down the sides of the fall. When I die, I want my ashes scattered there, for to be a part of such wondrous natural beauty for eternity would be the perfect way to go.
